AI skill · Volume 1 · Workflow W11

How do you keep TIC CRM records true after every meeting?

It turns an email thread or meeting transcript into CRM field updates, and leaves a field blank where the text says nothing.

It is workflow W11 of the twelve in The AI-Augmented TIC Sales Machine, sold on its own as one AI skill file (.zip) with a two-page start-here guide. Everything it writes is a draft for a person to check.

By Allen Chen, Deep Dive Reports, Wellington, New Zealand · Published 23 September 2026 · The skill carries the workflow and its prompts word for word from the report; it was adapted with AI assistance under a fixed method, and Allen Chen holds editorial responsibility. How the research is done

What you give it, and what comes back.

You attach: an email thread or meeting transcript.

You get back: CRM fields filled from an email or transcript, left blank where it says nothing.

It does not: fill a field the text does not support. It leaves it blank.

The email thread or meeting transcript, your eight to ten critical CRM fields and your CRM schema.

One run, start to finish

What it looks like when you use it.

Run in Claude (Opus 5, high effort), in our own Claude account with the skill installed on 20 September 2026. The account, the notes and the field list are invented for this example, and the run is shown as it came back, unedited. Your assistant's wording will differ: AI answers change between assistants and between runs.

input · what was given to the skill

Our critical fields. Account, contact and role, next step, next step date, opportunity stage, value, service line, competitor, risk, source of the information. Dates as YYYY-MM-DD, and a field left blank where the text does not support it.

The meeting notes, invented. "Call with the quality manager at ToasterExample, Tuesday. They are launching two new models in spring and want EMC and electrical safety. She said budget is not confirmed and her director decides. She mentioned they used another laboratory last year and were unhappy with the lead time but did not say which. She will send drawings when the design freezes, maybe next month. I said we would send an indicative programme once we see the drawings."

output · what came back

CRM update, for entry by a person or your CRM's own tools. No record deletion proposed.

what to notice

Three fields are deliberately empty, and the run explains each one. It knows which Tuesday was most recent and refuses to use it, because the note does not say the call was this week. It will not write "unknown laboratory" into the competitor field, on the grounds that a blank is honest and a placeholder quietly corrupts your reporting. That is the difference between filling a CRM and keeping one true.

The last section is a side effect of our own examples: the same invented company appears in the enquiry run on another page, with a different size and contact. The skill spotted the mismatch, said it could be growth or a duplicate, and proposed no deletion. In a real CRM that is exactly the call a person has to make.

The skill, or the report?

This workflow is not sold on its own. It comes with The AI-Augmented TIC Sales Machine, which sets out the method and the evidence for all twelve of its workflows, and every licence includes all twelve as ready-made skill files at no extra cost.
