Disclaimer
Our reports are research, not advice. This page sets out the limits of what they can be relied on for, how we label evidence, and who is answerable for what we publish.
Information, not advice
Our reports are general information for business research. They are not legal, regulatory, financial, investment, accounting or professional advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for it.
Before acting on anything in a report, get advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.
No professional relationship
Buying or reading a report, or commissioning tailored research, does not create any advisory, consulting, fiduciary or professional relationship between you and Deep Dive Reports. We do not know your circumstances and we are not advising you on them.
Regulatory and compliance content
Some reports discuss standards, regulations, accreditation and certification requirements. Rules change, differ by country, and are often open to interpretation by the relevant authority.
Our reports are not testing, inspection, certification, audit or accreditation services, and are no substitute for them. Nothing in a report certifies, verifies or attests that any product, process, system or organisation meets any standard or requirement.
Never treat our description of a rule as confirmation that you comply with it. Always check the current official text and, where it matters, confirm with the regulator or accreditation body directly.
Forward-looking statements
Reports may contain projections, forecasts, market sizing and statements about the future. These are informed judgements based on evidence available at the time, not facts. Actual outcomes will differ, sometimes materially. Do not treat any projection as a promise or a guarantee.
Point in time
Every report carries a research cut-off date and a last-verified date on its cover. It reflects the evidence available then. We do not undertake to update a report after publication unless we say otherwise.
Assessments of AI systems
Where we report on how AI assistants or AI-powered search describe an organisation, brand or subject, that record is a snapshot of what specific systems returned on specific dates, and every finding carries its date.
These systems are not deterministic. The same question can produce different answers on different days, to different users, in different regions, and after changes their operators make without notice. Nothing in such an assessment is a promise, guarantee or prediction of any future ranking, placement, mention or characterisation, and no such outcome can honestly be promised by anyone.
Commissioned work
Research commissioned and paid for by the organisation it concerns is not independent research. It is identified as commissioned on its first page, and it is not published under our masthead or presented as part of our own published research. Read it as what it is: work we were paid by you to do for you.
Naming other organisations
We name a company only where a claim about it can be traced to a verifiable source. Where the only material available is a company's own unaudited communication, we describe the sector rather than name firms.
Products are named only because they are in current use. They are listed alphabetically, none is assessed, ranked or endorsed, and no payment or other consideration is received from any of them.
We do not compare, score or rate other organisations. This applies to published reports and to commissioned work alike. In an assessment of how AI systems describe an organisation, where an assistant names another company we record what it said, verbatim and dated. That is a record of a machine output, not our evaluation of that company, and it should not be read as one.
How we handle accuracy
We research carefully and use primary sources wherever possible. Headline figures, the ones a reader might act on, are checked against at least two independent sources.
Every figure carries its source. Where a figure appears in an exhibit or a statistics panel, it also carries a label:
- Verified – confirmed in the official or primary source
- Benchmark – a named third party's published figure. Marked (vendor) where the publisher sells what it measured, because a company measuring its own product is not independent evidence and should not be read as such
- Derived – calculated by us, with the method shown
- Estimated – our judgement where hard data does not exist
Exhibits that define terms or set out structure carry no label, because they present no measurement. Where a figure cannot be confirmed in its original source, we remove it rather than soften it.
Even so, we cannot guarantee any report is complete, accurate or free from error, and we do not warrant that it is.
How we use AI, and who is answerable
We use AI tools to gather, summarise and cross-check sources, and to draft. We do not publish anything on the strength of an AI summary alone. Every figure is checked against its original source by a person before it appears.
A named individual holds editorial responsibility for each report: for the selection of sources, for every claim in it, and for its corrections. That name is printed in the report, and we keep a research log of sources, checks and corrections for every report and every version.
We are a small publisher. Where a report says "we", that means Allen Chen and the tools he directs, not a research department.
Third-party sources
Reports cite and link to material produced by others. We are not responsible for the accuracy of that material or for the content of any external website.
Your decisions are yours
Any decision you make after reading a report is your decision. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, cost or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, a report, including lost profits or business.
Corrections
Find a mistake? Please tell us at allen@deepdivereports.com. If we have got something wrong we will correct it, record the date of the correction, and if the change is material we will tell everyone who has already bought that report.
This means we keep buyer contact details for exactly this purpose, and it is why every report carries a version number, so we can say which document each buyer received.
Versions of this page
The version of these documents that governs your purchase is the one published at the moment you bought. We keep dated copies of every earlier version and will supply one on request. Email support@deepdivereports.com and tell us the date of your purchase.
